What is leadership?? from your own....

A simple definition of leadership is that leadership is the art of motivating a group of people to act towards achieving a common goal.

Is a leader born or made? While there are people who seem to be naturally endowed with more leadership abilities than others, I believe that people can learn to become leaders by concentrating on improving particular leadership skills.

In its essence, leadership in an organizational role involves establishing a clear vision, sharing (communicating) that vision with others so that they will follow willingly, providing the information, knowledge, and methods to realize that vision, and coordinating and balancing the conflicting interests of all members or stakeholders. A leader comes to the forefront in case of crisis, and is able to think and act in creative ways in difficult situations. Unlike management, leadership flows from the core of a personality and cannot be taught, although it may be learn and may be enhanced through coaching or mentoring.
But, that is not from mine, (hahahaha....)

From me, leadership is the skills from our self to control or to manage some organizations with good, but we must learn that skills, because i think without knowledge we cannot be a good leader although we have a talent as a leader..
ok, thanks......

  1. Leadership is a knowledge and skills to drive ourselves to drive people into the right way. These knowledge and skills has to be learned as the numbers or people who are born to lead is so small - unless we are prophets or any other leaders like Genghis Khan, Saladin and so on.

Leaders are not just make a right decision, but leaders have to make the best decision. Leaders will use their expediency to guide and lead others, but no by powers. Power is just a platform for them to lead others.

A good leader is who learn all the knowledge and skills from experiences, not just from theories. Someone who know what to do in any situations that need them to lead.

However, the first thing that all leaders have to do is - lead themselves before lead others.
